On Wednesday morning, December 26, Chairman of the Directorate Avner Shalev and Pedagogical Director Shulamit Imber met with Metropolitan Amfilohije, father Gajo Gajić and protosingel Jovan (Ćulibrk). In a cordial atmosphere remembrance of common suffering in the Second World War was revoked; cooperation between SOC (especially its Jasenovac Committee) and Yad Vashem was evaluated as well. A tour through the new historical museum guided by Ms. Eva Lutkiewitz followed and visit ended with meeting with Ms. Dorit Novak, the Director of the International School for Holocaust Studies and Dr. Doron Avraham. There, delegation and Ms. Novak made agreement about two forthcoming projects in cooperation between SOC and Yad Vashem, in order to advance in already excellent cooperation.
