Chairman of the International Commission for the Truth about Jasenovac, Dr. Bernard Klein, died on Saturday, August 11. As a professor at Kingsborough Community College and distinguished Holocaust specialist, Bernard Klein headed the Commission from its foundation and chaired all four International conferences on Jasenovac. The president of Republic of Srpska Mr. Milan Jelić decorated prof. Klein on the occassion of the Fourth conferrence held in May this year in Banja Luka. Kingsborough College together with Klein-initiated Holocaust Foundation will held a commemorative session in October. Bernard Klein was born on October 15, 1928, and was buried on Sunday, August 12.
